Manufacturing
Extension Partnership

TDO is part of the New York Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP). The MEP is designed to strengthen the competitiveness of America's small and medium-sized manufacturers by enabling them to adopt improved technologies and techniques. Through TDO, the MEP provides many technical services to manufacturers including assessments in the areas of operations, management and human resources, educational seminars, implementation assistance, lean manufacturing assistance, supervisor training programs (TWI), and ISO 9001-2000. In addition, the MEP provides linkages to other service providers including local, state and federal economic development organizations, workforce training providers, universities, and research laboratories.

There are now MEP centers in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. For more information on how TDO's MEP can help manufacturers, call Cindy Oehmigen, Glen Chwala, Bob Wrona or Bob Trachtenberg at: 315.425.5144, 1.800.mep4mfg, or email: mep@tdo.org

The New York Manufacturing Extension Partnership is a cooperative program of the New York State Office of Science, Technology and Academic Research (NYSTAR) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology's Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NIST/MEP).
